In my opinion, this is the best keto bagel bites recipe. I will tell you why. My husband loves to have biscuits with his morning tea for breakfast. But I was looking for a healthy alternative recipe to replace these store-bought sugar-dense, refined carb-based biscuits. This might not have the exact texture of store-bought biscuits. But these keto bagel bites, with their crispy exterior and soft interior, add nicely to a semi-savory breakfast.

Summary
ToggleIngredients:
- 1 cup unbleached almond flour
- ½ cup greek yogurt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- Grated parmesan and mozzarella cheese, 3 tbsp
- Bagel seasoning
- Bread crumbs for added crispiness (optional)
Baking:
- Mix almond flour, greek yogurt, and baking soda together. You can mix cheese or use that as a coating later. I added cheese to the bagel mix.
- Knead the dough until smooth. Avoid over-kneading. It will make the bites tougher and cooking time will increase for the center to cook through properly.
- Form the bites into balls.
- Coat with your desired seasoning. I coated with bread crumbs for extra crispiness. You can add your desired coating.
- Preheat your oven.
- Bake at 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes.

Air Fryer:
- Bake for 7–10 minutes. Air frying takes less time than baking in the oven. Air-fried bagel bites turned out crispier than baking. So, I stick to air frying for this recipe.

Baking vs Air Fryer
- Air fryer can take less time than baking.
- You don’t need to preheat when using an air fryer. It saves you time.
- The bagel bites turn out more crispy with an air fryer. I like crunchy exteriors more. If you are like me, try using an air fryer.
- Overall, the taste remains the same whether you use the oven or the air fryer.
Pro Tips:
- Avoid over-kneading. This will turn the bagel bites into tough balls and will take longer to cook in the center.
- Based on your greek yogurt brand, the recipe can turn out sweeter than usual. So, add some salt or pepper if the greek yogurt is on the sweeter side. I used organic greek yogurt from Simply Nature for my recipes.
- Enjoy these bagel bites fresh out of the oven or air fryer. These taste the best right out of the oven. Over time, the crispiness goes away. So, eat as soon as these bagel bites are made. You can microwave if you decide to eat later or the next day.
